Cookies

Last updated 13 August 2026. This page explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can accept or reject non-essential ones.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Related storage such as localStorage can hold a simple preference. Together they help a site remember a choice or measure visits. They are not programs and cannot read your disk.

Types we use

Essential. Needed for the site to remember your cookie choice and to keep basic pages working. These do not require a marketing opt-in. Rejecting analytics does not turn them off.

Analytics (optional). Used only if you press Accept on the banner. They help us see which program and Journal pages are read. They are not used to build an advertising profile. If you press Reject, the site still works in full: forms, programs, and legal pages remain available.

Cookies table

How to manage or disable cookies

On first visit the banner offers Accept and Reject with equal prominence. Your choice is stored under the key devqueuebase_cookie_consent. To decide again, clear localStorage for this site in your browser settings and reload. You can also block cookies entirely in the browser; essential storage may then be unavailable and the banner will appear again.

Browser controls differ. Look for “cookies,” “site data,” or “local storage” under privacy settings. You may also use a browser’s global tracking prevention. That will not stop you reading the site.

Third-party cookies

We load fonts from Google Fonts and images from public image hosts such as Unsplash. Those services may set their own cookies or use cache identifiers according to their policies. We do not control those files. Unsplash and similar CDNs are used to display course, Journal, and instructor images.

We do not embed third-party advertising networks. We do not run a retargeting pixel.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting optional analytics has no effect on enrolment, Desk Access, or the contact form. Blocking all cookies may reset the banner on every visit and may affect font caching (text will still render with fallback fonts). The site will not withhold content as a penalty for rejection.
